2022 NAPLAN Online Testing for Year 7 and Year 9 Students  

 

YEAR 7

NAPLAN practice tests to check our network and familiarise students with the online platform will run as follows

 

Tuesday, 22 March - Year 7 Stirling Period 4. 

Thursday, 24 March - Year 7 Macedon Period 3. Thursday, 24 March - Year 7 Hotham Period 4. 

 

Results from these practice sessions will not be recorded or count towards student final outcomes.

 

Year 7's will be taking the practice session on their Lenovo laptops and will be required to have downloaded and tested the latest version of the NAPLAN Locked Down browser by March 21 (links and instructions below). 

Please make sure your device is fully charged each day. 

Students will also be required to BYO headphones/sets These need to be the old style 3.5 mm jack style headphone. 

 

                              

                 

                 

 

 

 

PLEASE NOTE:

  • If your child does not have administration rights to install the NAPLAN Locked Down Browser onto their device parents/carers will need to do this on their behalf 
  • The NAPLAN Locked Down Browser was updated in Jan 2022 so previous versions will need to be deleted and the new version installed on devices
  • DO NOT BRING wireless or lightening connector style headphones
  • NO “Smart” watches are allowed for NAPLAN 
  • Student laptops should not have VPNs enabled at school
  • Update your device with latest Windows updates

  1. Check the download of the NAP Locked down browser is installed and working correctly by testing it at this site

Year 9's will be taking the practice session in our VSC Computer labs and will be required to
