ENSEMBLES

All Ensembles are underway now as we move towards our Annual Autumn Concert on the 12th of May. If you are enrolled in music and have not yet been to an Ensemble rehearsal, please come and see Mr. Mizzi in the Music Centre. 

CONTEMPORARY BANDS

A call went out a few weeks ago regarding expressions of interest for Contemporary Bands. However, we are still in need of some more students to join bands. We need Drummers, Singers and Guitarists and Bass Players. Please come and see Mr. Mizzi in the Music Centre. 

CALLING ALL SINGERS!!

We have had a great influx of new students this year taking part in the band program, however, we still have places available for any students wishing to sign up for singing lessons with Mr. Nguyen. – Please come and see us about enrolling for 2022. 

BRASS SOIREE

The VSC music program will host our first soiree of the year on the 22nd of March. First cab off the rank are our Brilliant Brass students - what a treat!

The evening will feature students from Years 7 to 11 performing in small groups or as solo acts across a range of musical styles. Some of these students will have only been playing for a few short weeks but are still excited to take their first steps into music performance.

Our college Stage Band will also be performing for the first time in 2022, debuting a high energy classic from your favourite bass player, Jaco Pasotrius. This soiree is open to family and friends of our music program.

DINNER ON THE DECK – MARCHING BAND

Our Marching Band will be performing at next weeks ‘Dinner on the Deck’ as part of the festivities. We look forward to their first performance for the year in readiness for their ANZAC DAY March.
