Dear Families,

I hope everyone was able to enjoy the long weekend with family and friends. Weren't we blessed with some beautiful autumn weather!

This week Catholic Schools across the Melbourne Archdiocese celebrate Catholic Education Weekwhich highlights the education that Catholic schools offer to families and to the community.

The theme is the Way of the Gospeland challenges us to look for ways that we live the message of Christ in our interactions at school. Our Vision statement implores us to live the message of Christ and says in part

'We Walk with Families in Faith and Knowledge' and  'we aim to inspire our students to learn and flourish in our contemporary world'. In our RE News in this newsletter some of our students have suggested the ways we are living out the Way of the Gospel at our school.... Have a read...

School Captain Badge Ceremony and PREP Clapping in Ceremony

We are planning to hold a brief ceremony to present the Captain's and Leader's badges to our Year 6 students on MONDAY 28th MARCH at 9:00am. We will also formally WELCOME our Preps with a very simple clapping in ceremony.

This will take place outside at the back of the Performing Arts Area.  As swimming is taking place some of our Year 1/2 classes may not be able to attend.

This event was scheduled for earlier in the year but due to COVID restrictions, it was postponed. Parents attending must be fully vaccinated and bring a mask should we need to be inside.

A morning tea will be provided following the ceremony. The event should be finished by 10am.

 RAPID ANTIGEN TESTS

Rapid Antigen Tests were sent home today. Please continue to test your child each Monday & Thursday. Families need to continue the surveillance testing until the end of Term 1.
