Physical Education

The preps have been enthusiastically taking part in Physical Education lessons. They have been working together, encouraging each other and displaying resilience. They have enjoyed games like Duck Duck Goose and have worked on their catching, throwing and bouncing skills using a variety of balls.

STEAM

Students in grade 3 and 4 are continuing to discuss and explore Heat.  After brainstorming where heat is found, we thought about how we could group things according to sources of heat such as friction, electricity, movement and burning.  Can you find things at home that create heat and decide which category they fit into?

Performing Arts

What a lot of fun we are having exploring Body Percussion!  Students are working co-operatively in groups to compose their own piece of music using sounds that they can make with hands, feet and bodies. Can’t wait to see the finished songs! It’s really great to see students taking risks and getting involved in performing arts classes.
