Year 6 Swimming
All Year Six students are required to be given the opportunity to swim 50m. Due to this new government directive we have received a small amount of funding from the Victorian government. St John Vianney’s has chosen to use this to cover the cost of 6 swimming lessons over a four week period, during Term Three. These lessons begin next Tuesday where Year 6 will need to bring to school all swimming gear. Goggles will be given by the swim school and a cap can be purchased from the office for $2.
District Athletics
All students in Years 3 - 6 participated in school Athletics trials on Monday 30 July. There are still some individual trials going on at school and the team representing St John Vianney's will be notified in the next week. The Wellington District Athletics will be held at Knox Athletics Track on Thursday 30 August.
