Prep and Year 7 Transition

A Zoom Orientation was held for the Prep and Year 7 2021 students. While a little different to our normal orientation, it was wonderful to see all the students zoom into their homerooms and enjoy the activities set by their teachers. There were many smiling faces and excitement.

We look forward to welcoming our new students in the New Year.

Year 7 Students

We asked a few students what they were most looking forward to in Year 7 and here is what they had to say:

I am excited to learn different variety of subjects such as Indonesian, Science, and Humanities in Year 7! I am looking forward to making new friends and helping them feel welcomed at Aitken College!  - Laila

In Year 7, I am really looking forward to learning new subjects like Science and Product Design. I am also excited to make new friends and meet new teachers. The best part of Year 7 will be attending camp because I think I will make new friends there and have a great time. - Dimitri

The event I am looking forward to the most is Year 7 camp because we get to go to Phillip Island and that will be a new experience for me. I am also looking forward to the new challenges of Year 7 and maintaining high grades that I have achieved in Year 6. - Hirundi

What I am looking forward to the most about Year 7 is going on camp to Phillip Island, making new friends, and meeting new teachers. I am excited to move into secondary and learn Product Design. - Luke

Prep Transition Session

The Prep 2021 students did have an opportunity to visit their classroom on the last week of Term 4. They were able to meet their homeroom teacher and peers.
