Winners are Grinners!!

Baird House winners of the Year 12 House Netball Competition

With COVID-19 putting the handbrakes on most of the sporting opportunities this year, the sports department launched our new sporting venture the Year 12 House Sport Competition in Term 3!

The Year 12’s had begun round 1 & 2 of the netball last term before the school shutdown was reinforced once again. We were finally able to complete the remaining rounds on Wednesday 14th October, 3 months after we initially started! It all came down to Baird vs Lawson in the grand final. Baird was just too strong going undefeated for all matches and crowned the champions. Brawn was the winner of the runners up final against Greenfield.

It was fantastic to see the Year 12 cohort having a fantastic time and enjoying some sport in the last few weeks of their schooling life. 

Our focus now moves onto 4 corner soccer which will commence on Wednesday 28th  October.  More details to come!
