For special occasions

Students in Mrs Dickson’s Food For Special Occasions class have recently completed two design tasks. Firstly, they were required to design and present a fruit flan. They prepared a pastry base which they then filled with custard and decorated with fruits in season. They then completed CAT 2 Cake Decorating. This required them to select a theme suitable for their client, choose a recipe, icing type and appropriate decorative effects. They enjoyed both tasks and produced some amazing results. Well done!
