GSSC - Dance

Under normal circumstances the Dance students would perform their work on a stage to an audience, but this year we have had to get creative in how we present assessment pieces! We have filmed two of our class assessment pieces, thanks to the media department at the Mooroopna Campus. On the 13th November, our eager year 11 Dance students, from the Wanganui Campus, ventured to Yackatoon Gardens, Coomboona to film their group performance piece titled “Alzheimers”. 

This piece explores different stages of the disease and memories from the past. The piece was performed in front of a beautiful white heritage homestead, surrounded by a lake, garden, hedges and a manicured lawn. It was a lovely and appropriate setting for this piece and the students really enjoyed their visit and filming experience. Congratulations to the Year 11 Dance students on doing a wonderful job.
