Book Week

Book Week

This week is Book Week and we are usually busily preparing costumes of our favourite characters in preparation for a dress up day. Given the current circumstances we find ourselves in, this year’s celebrations will be slightly different.

This year the following organisation is in place to help celebrate the amazing books that have been shortlisted for the CBCA Book Awards.

Shortlisted Book Week Books in Library

Kim, our librarian, has purchased a selection of shortlisted books for this year’s award. These are available in the Library for teachers to use during Library sessions this week. Students will be free to peruse and read the amazing books that have made the list this year. These books will also go on tour to Scotsburn during the week.

Book Week Classroom Activities

During the week, classroom teachers will have the opportunity to include Book Week activities as part of the learning program for the students to participate in. If you would like to have a go at some activities at home, why not try those listed below.
