Celebrating Ourselves

Congratulations to the Year Six Champions For Change Students.  The creative and collaborative Champions for Change group of Year Six students have finalised the actions they chose to undertake to support raising awareness about a  positive body image amongst our St Brigid's school community members.  You will no doubt agree the end product is targeted, professional and provides an excellent resource for us to use again in the future.

We hope you enjoy this beautiful video made by our St Brigid's Students.

Living, loving and learning in the final full week of Year Five and Six

This week the senior school students have combined our annual St  Vincent's  collection with a real life learning using a problem based approach. The problem being : What can a family of five on a minimum weekly wage afford for Christmas? You are to firstly estimate the costs to provide a Christmas lunch and three gifts for the primary school aged children. Secondly, investigate, what other expenses does a family of five have? Finally, consider in what ways can we help? The level of engagement, realisation, gratitude and empathy shown and articulated by your children has been rich and heartwarming for all.
