PRAYER

Loving God, 

we thank you for being with us always. Open our hearts to hear your voice.

Help us, Lord to make our school a place of mercy and hope, where all feel welcomed, loved, respected, forgiven and encouraged.

In your love and wisdom, help and guide all of us to be good ambassadors for Christ, both in service to others and in proclaiming the gospel.

Send your Holy Spirit among us Lord so that we may be filled with your grace and peace as we go about our lives in the world.

We pray for... the candidates who are preparing to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist and for community members who may be suffering from loss or illness. 

LITURGY NEWS

Yesterday some students from Year 4 had the opportunity to attend Reconciliation. Next week more of our Year 4 students will have the opportunity to attend Reconciliation.

Infants Liturgy

Yesterday students in Kinder, Year 1 and Year 2 attended their first Infants Liturgy for the year at St Nicholas Church. A big thank you to the students and staff for their participation. The students experienced prayer, listened to hymns, spoke with Fr Chris and carried out many of the reading roles associated with such a celebration. It was so lovely to see the students so reverent and comfortable in the presence of the Lord. 

FIRST RECONCILIATION & FIRST EUCHARIST   

First Reconciliation and First Eucharist has been rescheduled to the following dates;

-  First Reconciliation - Wednesday 25th November

 - First Eucharist - Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th November

Notes were distributed this week about Reconciliation and Mass times. Please ensure the yellow notes are handed in.

ST NICHOLAS FEAST DAY - END OF YEAR-  WHOLE SCHOOL MASS

This year our End of Year Mass will be on Friday the 4th December. This Mass will be a Whole School Mass beginning at 9.30am with ALL students to be dressed in full summer uniform. Unfortunately, due to restrictions parents and friends are unable to join us here at school but avenues of live streaming the Mass are being sourced. At this Mass, we will formally acknowledge and farewell our Year 6 students as well as present our annual awards.

CHRISTMAS JOY - MUFTI DAY

On Friday 11th December we will be having a 'Christmas Joy' Mufti Day. Students will be allowed to wear Christmas coloured clothing, Christmas shirt, tinsel in hair etc. (no coloured hair spray).
