Artist of the Week

This week's artist of the week is Robin I of FLB with his Echi, the echidna, built of airdry clay and wooden match sticks. Robyn is moving to a new school next year, so we hope that his Echi will be a good reminder of his time with us here at BPPS.

All children are still actively working on significant art projects.  The foundation children will be printing with bubble wrap tomorrow and will use the resulting papers to collage an art work. The grade 1 and two children are collaging with papers they printed using the gelli plates. Having finished their clay owls, the grade 3 and 4 children are painting an icon of Australia in a style inspired by the artist Ken Done, and the 5/6s are close to completing their Chinese Opera masks.
