PBS

Next Monday (25th March) is a casual clothes day. This is a whole school reward for earning our target number birds. It is a free day - no money is required.

Last week we joined with another class to share our ideas on 'What makes a 5 Star Learner'. Junior A met with Foundations and Junior B met with Middle A. This has really helped the students to verbalise their knowledge and skills around being a 5 Star Learner.

What have we been learning in Maths?

This term we have been creating and continuing patterns using shapes and numbers. We have used number charts to skip count by 2s, 5s and 10s. We have been making 2-digit numbers with tens frames, bundles and MAB and can find the place value of each of the digits. At the start of the term we measured the length of objects with our hands, blocks and meter rulers. We can order objects in height order. We are finishing the term looking at chance and completing experiments to find out if an event is certain, likely, unlikely or impossible to happen.
