THE GREEN PAGE

Help us develop our

Bush Foods Garden!!

Next Tuesday 13 February,  at lunchtime, we are ripping out and tearing up the largest rosemary patch out the back of Room 1, to make way for our 'Indigenous Bush Food Garden'.

We are seeking out many hands to make light work of it.    Students and staff interested in gloving up and helping to put some love into the garden, please join us.

It could be a warm day,  so there will be drinks and icy poles provided for those that work for it.

For more information please see Mr Ross or Ms Turner in Home Eco.

Are you passionate about the environment??

Want to be involved in sustainable activities around the school?

Want to contribute to making the school a cleaner & greener place to be?

Students from all year levels are welcome to join the Green Team;

  • Monday lunchtimes
  • Room 1
  • (Home Eco)

We had a fantastic year last year introducing 'Keep Cups' and starting a 'Recycling Program' here at the school.  We are looking for students to keep it all going in 2018.

This year we will also be involved in composting, worm farming and  planting an 'Indigenous Bush Foods Garden!

So if you have a passion for all things green and want to be a part of the action around the school,  head to Room 1,  Monday lunchtimes!

See you there.

Greenest Regards

Peter Ross  and The Green Team
