Attendance - Everyday Counts

If you are a regular reader of the Score you will have noticed that we acknowledge students who have achieved 100% for each term / semester / year. As the year 12 have now completed their classes we can acknowledge the students who attended every school day for the year.

The Year 12 cohort has had the best attendance rate of all year levels with an average of 6 days absent across the cohort.

Attendance at school has many benefits – academically, socially, physically, emotional etc. For these students and the many others that are very close to 100% attendance displays a commitment to their education. It is also a great to show potential employers this commitment and work ethic. Well done!

Marcus Brown has not missed a school day in the last two years. This is a fantastic effort and displays great commitment to his education.

Save the Date - Orion Night

Orion Night will be held on Tuesday 10 December at a 1330 (thirteen thirty) Ferntree Gully Road, Scoresby. For families new to Scoresby Secondary College, Orion Night is an evening where we celebrate the achievements of our students. The ceremony will begin at 7:30 pm. Students who will be receiving an award or who are being asked to perform on the night will receive a letter closer to the date.
