Over The Moon

‘Over The Moon’ – A Matthew Flinders Girls Production

Matthew Flinders Girls Secondary College warmly invites you to our production of “Over The Moon”, written by Niki na Meadhra. You will meet a quirky Traveller Family and be drawn into their magical world of storytelling. The central character, Storm, is a girl on the brink of womanhood, pushing at the boundaries her elders have set for her. She takes her role in the telling of the family’s traditional tale, but insists she must do it her own way.

The show is wreathed in the presence of the ancestors and the beauty of their songs (and dance). A heart-warming show for all the family, with an all-star, talented cast!

The Production will be held at Courthouse Youth Theatre at 60 Little Malop Street.

There are three evening performances Wednesday 21st, Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd August from 7 to 9pm.

Ticket sales for the evening performances will open at 8am on Monday 29th July.

Ticket prices are Adults $20 and Students $15.

There is a limit of 140 tickets available per performance – so be quick so you do not miss out.

For the production matinee on Wednesday 21st only the year 7 students will be attending with their period 3 and 4 teachers (at no cost to students).
