Welcome Back
Welcome back music lovers! We are looking forward to another exciting year in music.
Rehearsals and lessons will commence on Monday 8 February.
The rehearsal times for our ensembles are:
Senior Concert Band
Monday 3.30pm to 5.30pm
Intermediate Concert Band
Tuesday 3.30pm to 5.00pm
Junior Concert Band
Thursday 3.30pm to 4.45pm
Senior Stage Band
Thursday 3.30pm to 5.30pm
Intermediate Stage Band
Wednesday 3.30pm to 5.00pm
Guitar Group
Tuesday 3.30pm to 4.30pm
New Students Years 8-12
New students in Years 8 – 12 who are interested in joining our band program are very welcome. Just come along to the Music Centre at any recess or lunchtime and we will see what we can do for you.
Year 7 Students
Year 7 students can join our band program in one of two ways;
If you have already been playing an instrument for a year or more you may be able to join our Junior Band. Just come along to the Music Centre and show us what you can do and we will see if we can help you.
We also have a band specifically for beginner musicians in Year 7. Over the coming weeks the Music Department will visit all Year 7 classes to explain to them how to get involved in the music program. This will culminate in an information evening at a date to be specified. More information regarding this will be sent out shortly.

2021 FHS Vocal Ensemble
All year levels welcome – we have a range of students from different year levels currently in the Frankston High School Vocal Ensemble and we perform a variety of styles. We welcome Year 7 students and new students. Rehearsals are weekly and performances include school assemblies, school concerts and community events.
