Performance uniforms are required for the following ensembles: Allegria, Big Band, Canzona, Ciao Bella, Paganini Strings, Percussion Ensemble, Symphonic Winds, Viotti Strings and Wind Orchestra. All other groups are to wear the formal School Uniform. Performance uniforms and gold hair ribbons are available at our College Shop.

Private lesson attendance

As per the Terms and Conditions in the Private Lesson Application Form, students are expected to know their lesson times in advance and to remember to come to their lesson on time. Instrumental teachers are happy to ring the classrooms of early Primary Year levels should their student forget to arrive, however this does take away valuable lesson time and sometimes students can be difficult to locate, resulting in a missed lesson.

Tips on remembering Music Lessons

For students taking music lessons, keeping track of lesson times and attending lessons on time is crucial for their success. However, with the busy class time schedules, it can be challenging for students to keep track of time and remember to attend lessons.

Wearing a watch can be a simple solution to this problem. Many watches come with alarms and timers that students can set to go off at specific times. By setting an alarm to remind them of their music lesson, students can avoid the risk of forgetting or being caught up in other activities. This ensures that they attend their lessons regularly and make the most of their allocated lesson time.

Using a watch can help students develop a sense of responsibility and discipline. It can also help students learn to take ownership of their time and prioritize their activities.
