Book Fair

Reading for pleasure unlocks the power of information and imagination and helps children discover who they are. This week we have hosted another Scholastic Book Fair, with a wonderful selection of engaging books for every reading level. The students have loved browsing the books and creating their ‘wish list’ to bring home. Our older students also enjoyed helping their younger buddy classes to note down their wishes. With plenty of stationery items also on offer, there really was something for everyone!

Year 4 and 5 Camp at Mapleton

The Year 4 and 5 cohorts thoroughly enjoyed their outdoor education experience last week. Away for three days, the students engaged in activities ranging from canoeing and crate climbing to history curriculum-themed problem solving and team building challenges. There were lots of opportunities to try new things, taste new food, and step into leadership roles for the Year 5s. I am sure they came home with plenty of stories of fun and adventure!
