Victorian State Schools Spectacular Tickets

Tickets for the 2023 Production will go on sale via Ticketek at 11am on Wednesday 7th June.

We have an amazing dance troupe performing on the night, as well as James Nimaya from Year 10, who has been chosen to be one of the Principal Dancers at the event. Please visit our Student Achievements page in this newsletter to find out more about this incredible achievement.

The Victorian State Schools Spectacular will take place at the John Cain Arena on Saturday, 9th September.

Please remember that over 5000 tickets are sold on the first day, so please get in early to get the best seats.

Student Free Day

There will be a Student Free Day on Friday, 9th June to allow staff to complete report writing.

One-to-One Netbook Program Reminder

In recent years Pakenham Secondary College has implemented a One-to-One Netbook Program. We believe they are a tool that our students need if we are to prepare them appropriately for the 21st century.

It is important that students are prepared for their classes each day by coming to class fully equipped to learn, which includes having their laptops in good working order and fully charged.

While we can assist students who do not have their own laptops, we do not have the capacity to provide computers for students who have simply left their computers at home.

Uniform Blitz

Please be advised that over the next two weeks Sub Schools will be conducting uniform checks across the College. We ask that you ensure that your child is in full school uniform and if this is not the case, please send a note advising when they will be in full school uniform.

For the remainder of the term students out of uniform without a note will be asked to complete a recess or lunchtime detention.

We remind parents that:

Shoes must be black, polishable, lace-up school shoes.
Hoodies are not permitted at school at any time.
Tracksuit pants are not a part of the uniform.
The green polo shirt is part of the PE uniform and not for general use.

Pakenham Level Crossing Removal Project Latest Update

The Level Crossing Removal Project team have forwarded the latest update on road closures and details about the timeline for buses replacing trains for May and June.
