Message from our Campus Principal

Principal’s Update
We have now been in the unfortunate position of having been thrown into three sudden closures owing to Covid exposures in the school. After having navigated all of the last two years without this experience, it has certainly been a tough time for all involved. I want to thank our entire community for their excellent communication and for working with us so well as each of these cases has arisen. We are aware of the stress the situation has on the community and in particular the anxieties it creates in our students and parents.
This is also an opportune time to thank our staff who have been absolutely fantastic in managing the same turmoil. Some have been forced to isolate as primary close contacts due to their work with positive cases and this creates the same difficulties for them and their families as you experience in your homes. They continue to turn up with a smile though and are working to help your children feel as safe and ‘normal’ at school as they can.
With only a few weeks left of this year, let’s hope we can get through the rest unscathed!
Please remember, if you have any questions about our Covid response or the expectations of you and your child as a PCC or a positive case, please contact me at the school earlier rather than later. Clear communication is a key tool to keep our entire community as safe as possible.
