Maribyrnong Christmas Activations
As a bit of reminder to what's on offer this year for fun Christmas activations for the whole family please see the below summary and attached files.
This one is a good one for the music teachers!
We want people to sing a line of our very own Christmas carol and send in the recording to be edited together with the whole of the community. It’s our answer to not being able to run Christmas carols this year and so easy to be part of:
· Learn the song – it’s a local version of the 12 Days of Christmas so that’s easy. I have attached the lyrics and sheet music.
· Record yourself singing just a line, the whole song or doing a dance to the song. You can play your instrument. Get creative to show off your talent, your school, your family, pets and staff.
· Send in your recording. You can send in as many as you like.

· Upload your renditions to https://www.dropbox.com/request/LnXKkiwnQ9ITgFAOmtO8 by December 10.
· The video clip will be edited and circulated in time for Christmas and giggles.

We’re running a colouring competition with the best prize a kid could imagine, a visit from Santa, his elf and his vintage fire truck ride, To Their House!
We’re looking for one winner per suburb. We are still missing submissions from Tottenham, Braybrook and Kingsville so we really want these suburbs represented.
This one’s a digital comp so could easily be sent home.
It’s as simple as:
· Download the free MARIality app
· Download the colouring sheet. I have provided the attachment.
· Get kids to colour in the sheet and watch their art come to life in 3D.
· Save the pic and then upload it to the pop up form.
· That’s it!
The competition is now open and closes on December 7.
Santa and Sirens tours will happen on December 16,17 and 21 with all winners notified by December 10.
