Working Bee

On Saturday 14th March from 8:00am - 10:30am we are holding a Working Bee to replace the old tabletops in the Year 3 /4 area with new ones. We need at least 6 people with drills to help us with this task so that we can have the new tables and chairs in the Year 3 /4 rooms before the holidays.

If you can help us for a few hours on Saturday, please email us at schooladmin@stbnardscoburg.catholic.edu.au.  If we get 6 – 8 people we will be finished in a very short time.

Student Health

As always, we encourage parents to keep children at home if they are unwell.

Enrolment Card Drop

Thank you to those parents who have taken cards and delivered them to homes in the area. We still have a few more streets that need to be delivered so please come and see us in the office to get a street or two.

Uniform

At the beginning of Term 2, we change to winter uniform. There is a two-week period of changeover where students can wear either winter or summer uniform. As of Monday 27th April, all students must be in full winter uniform.  Please ensure that you have all the required uniform before that date by visiting our uniform suppliers Academy, online at http://www.academyuniforms.com.au/  or at their shop Academy Uniforms, 238 Wolseley Place, Thomastown.

'Something to think about'

With the media frenzy and community panic around Coronavirus, children are hearing a lot about it without really understanding what is happening. Knowing  what to say and how to deal with it as parents can be tricky. Below is a link to an ABC article about this. We hope it is helpful.
