Care & Share Program

CALLING FOR VOLUNTEERS

I am asking for anyone who wants to volunteer for the Care & Share Program for 2017 to please complete the attached form below. 

 (If you have emailed Amanda during the summer holidays  break, you do not need to complete the form.)

For those of you who don’t know what the Care & Share Program entails, here is a quick explanation.

This program is designed to help out families within the school community who have been struck down with severe illness or hardship. It involves compiling a list of volunteers the coordinator can call upon if required.  When you put your name on the list of volunteers, you are asked to nominate what you are volunteering for e.g. cooking, baking, gardening, child minding, shopping, walking the family dog, mowing the lawn, etc.   A roster is then complied and either emailed or a hard copy will be given to your eldest child via the classroom. 

Normally you might be required to volunteer once a term.

Even though you might already have your name down on last year’s list of volunteers, you are still be required to fill out another form for 2017, as I need to update your child’s grade or you may have changed your mind about volunteering.
