Griffins Sport Club – Independent Chair

The School Council, who governs the Great Southern Griffins Sports Club, is seeking an Independent Chair (Voluntary) to lead the Sport Management Committee and ultimately all the GSG sporting groups.  This is an exciting position for a skilful person wishing to contribute to the inaugural full season of the Great Southern Griffins Sports Club.  In times when volunteering can be demanding, this position is well supported with a detailed structure, governance guidelines and Code of Conduct.  The first Chair will be well regarded within the Great Southern community.

Dads in the Great Southern (DiGS)

When: 25 June 2021, 7.00pm

Where: Army Barracks

Who: All GSG Dads and father figures

I am delighted to invite all GSG dads and father figures to a story sharing session at the Army Barracks on 25 June 2021 commencing 7.00pm.  John Byrne, DiGS Representative and I, will share stories around fathering, highlighting the relevance of fathers through personal experiences. It is an opportunity to be present, in a social environment whilst reflecting on the attributes of fathering. Attendees can enjoy pizza and drinks, for further information and RSVP please contact John Byrne by email mt.trio@bigpond.com.
