Interview 2 Impress

This week as part of Year 11 Leadership Program our students had the opportunity to participate in ABCN’s Interview 2 Impress online workshop, a half-day face-face program designed to equip students with the practical skills needed to engage in employment options beyond school.  The focus of Interview 2 Impress is to allow students to experience realistic interview scenarios in a corporate environment. The session allows students to practice the theory they have learnt at school by working with industry mentors who provide direct and relevant feedback based on their own job interview experiences. 

Students participated in workshops related to interview skills and resume development. Our students embraced the opportunity to learn new skills and further develop their interpersonal and work related communication skills.

On Monday, 7th June, I had the privilege of being part of the online incursion that Mrs Hill kindly organized for us. It was by the ABCN team and the program was called Interview 2 Impress. It was all about professional tips for interviews of all kinds. We met with some amazing mentors who interviewed us and gave us feedback on what we need to do better and what we could have done differently. They gave us tips to use when going for real life interviews and how to be confident when attending the interview. I would like to thank Mrs Hill for organizing it for us and for giving us this amazing opportunity. I recommend participating in the next ABCN program that is being organized at the college.
