4/5FA - Religious Education

During the past few weeks students in 4/5 FA have been learning about forgiveness. We had the following students, Giovanni,  Grace and Eden in our class who received the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Thursday the 20th May at St James Church.( Please keep these students in your prayers.)

Students learnt  why forgiveness is important in their lives and the ability we all have to give others a second chance. We then read and discussed the parable of The Lost Son. Jesus told this story as a way of teaching us that no matter what wrong choice we make in our lives God will always forgive us.

Sometimes it is hard to forgive others but in the long run it makes you feel better. Nancy
