Absent all day?
Parents can enter approval directly into compass by 9:15am (this can also be done anytime in advance) OR phone the school office on 03 9391 8942 and leave a message.
*Automated text messages are sent daily to both parents of all students who have been marked absent without parent approval.
Covid Absences
If your child is unable to attend school due to Covid, please inform the office in writing as soon as possible so the correct attendance can be recorded. The school must record these absences differently.
Arriving late?
When you arrive at school, please sign your child IN at the school office on the Compass Kiosk. Students then take the late slip to their class teacher.
Please note: This can not be done in advance or from the parent portal.
Leaving early?
When possible, please call 5-10 minutes prior to picking up your child to ensure they are ready and waiting in the office. Parent/Carers are asked not to go to the classrooms.

Have your contact details changed? If so please let the office know via email so we can update our records. This includes changes to emergency contacts, additional numbers to call if needed and any changes to employment details.

The school office will be closed during the school holidays.
You can email your child's teacher directly through compass. Open in the full browser mode and look for the envelope icon. Please click on the logo below to open Compass.
If your child requires medication to be administered during school hours, please download and complete the Parent Medication Authority Form form and hand it to the Front Office with the required medication in it's original packaging. This includes but limited to - paracetamol, ibuprofen, antibiotics, creams and lozenges.
If your child suffers from an Anaphylaxis, severe Allergies, Diabetes, Epilepsy or Asthma and you need to update you Medical Action Plans please download the required form below, have it completed by your Medical Practitioner and return the original coloured version to the office. If you do not have a coloured printer, please contact the office to print for you. These are DET required Action Plans. If you cannot find your child's required Action Plan, please contact the school office.
School uniforms are only available at Double C Jeanery, 2 Aviation Road Laverton or on our online shop.

Delivery is free to the school and all deliveries will be delivered to the office on a Friday between 2.30pm and 3.30pm. Deliveries to any other address will incur a delivery fee.

When are Lunch Orders?
Each Thursday Lunch Orders will be available. ALL students are welcome to buy their lunch. Orders must be placed by 8:00am each Thursday.
Who is KingWill Catering?
Nicole Kingston and Jo Williams are two local mums, friends and business partners. They provide healthy lunch meals to school children and have recently won a Hobson Bay Food Safety away for their catering business
What food is offered?
There is a range of options, all hand made by Jo & Nicole to please everyone's taste buds. Hot food favourites include fried rice & spaghetti bolognaise and classic cold food options of sandwiches, rolls & scrolls are also available.

Before and after school care is provided by ‘Quantin Binnah Community Centre’ and takes place in the multipurpose room at school. QBCC host engaging activities to entertain students before & after school. Students can receive breakfast / light snacks (depending on arrival/departure time) and are fully supervised while in QBCC’s care.
All Program and Activities information is provided via the OWNA parent app, access to which is provided after you have completed all the steps for enrolment.
