On Thursday 10th August, Year 5 students participated in an incursion that further deepened our understanding of the people, places and events that helped shape Australia's past.
Last week, Year 5 classrooms were converted into supermarkets to make learning about Money in Mathematics more authentic. Students had the opportunity to count money, calculate change and apply discounts.
Well done to those students who registered and participated in the Literacy or Numeracy ICAS competition this week. We wish you luck with your results.
Please ensure devices are charged each night, screen time settings are adjusted for the school day and remind family and friends not to contact students directly on their devices during the school day.
Please remind students that they are not to play on the council oval before school. Instead, they are encouraged to play on the synthetic oval where there is teacher supervision.
