Hello there, dear readers! Prepare to laugh your socks off as we recount the uproarious escapades of our brave Year 10 students during their Melbourne Career Camp!

From the 17th to the 20th of July, a daring team of 49 students, joined by six fearless staff members, embarked on a wild expedition to Melbourne. Armed with their wit and humour, they were ready to conquer the world of universities and career exploration.

The Great Public Transport Expedition

First up, our young adventurers faced the daunting challenge of mastering Melbourne's public transport system! Divided into small groups, they bravely took on trams and trains like seasoned commuters. Oh, the tales they have to tell! There may have been a few misguided tram rides that led to unexpected sightseeing detours, but hey, getting lost is just part of the adventure, right?

Universities Unleashed

With their public transport skills honed to perfection, our scholars made their way to the hallowed halls of RMIT, Monash Clayton, and Melbourne University. If only we could be a fly on the wall to witness their grand ambitions meeting the realities of the university world!

Thrills and Laughter Abound

But hold on, folks, this wasn't just an academic pursuit! Our students showed us that they could have a blast while chasing their dreams. They dove into heart-pounding escape rooms, where their puzzle-solving skills were put to the test. Rumour has it that some groups were having such a great time there that they nearly forgot to escape altogether!

Ice Skating Shenanigans

Ice skating was another highlight of the trip, with some students gliding gracefully like elegant swans, while others discovered that ice is a pretty slippery customer! But hey, even the clumsiest falls brought about bursts of laughter and a newfound appreciation for the joys of gravity.

Rock Climbing Heights and Digital Delights

Our daredevils took rock climbing to a whole new level, quite literally! Cheered on by their friends, they reached for the sky and conquered the summit with triumphant smiles and, in some cases, quite a bit of huffing and puffing.

But that's not all! They stepped into a dazzling digital wonderland at The Lume, where they were wowed by an immersive experience like no other. Who needs to be an art connoisseur when you can immerse yourself in the world of digital masterpieces?

Mission: Hilarious

As if that wasn't enough, they even managed to sneak in some top-secret spy action at the cinema, watching the latest Mission Impossible movie.

Laser Tag and Bowling Brilliance

The adventures didn't stop there! Our laser tag warriors demonstrated their tactical prowess in intense battles, and our bowling champions showed off their striking skills. Whether it was getting a strike or bowling gutter balls, everyone had a blast, and the fun was infectious!
