Keeping up with 3/4N

Swimming 

We are well underway with our swimming program! The students are loving swimming at Haileybury and are thoroughly enjoying themselves. We have been going swimming with 5/6F. Our last session is this Friday where we focus on water safety!

Writing 

In writing in 3/4 we are writing Narratives. We have done lots of preparation by focusing on building our sentence structure, using the correct punctuation, using adjectives and adverbs in our writing as well as using colourful semantics to add more interest to our writing. Last week we were writing our drafts for our Narratives and this week we are up to publishing our narratives. 

Concert practice 

Our school concert ‘SJV Speaks for the Trees’ is soon approaching! We have been doing lots of practice in our classroom and with the other 3/4 classes! We are very excited to show you what we have been working on. Not long to go now…
