Welcome to The Ivy Voice!

This edition of The Ivy Voice is dedicated to advocating neurodiversity inclusion within the school community.  

After a rewarding two years of working alongside The Ivy Voice Editing Team, I am stepping down as the role of Chief Editor. I am pleased to announce Year 10 students Mia Garfi and Grace Alberti will the Co-chief editor for 2024. I am confident that their initiation and enthusiasm will guide the Ivy Voice in the years to come. Their plans to expand and advocate The Ivy Voice will not disappoint! I strongly encourage students to contribute to The Ivy Voice and showcase their experiences and achievements. 

It has been a pleasure to work alongside dedicated editors of The Ivy Voice to publish editions that showcase the achievement and collaboration of all students from all campuses. We have had the opportunity to expand our collaborative measures by working alongside eager Year 6 students from Buckley House, attaining a broader perspective from the primary school community. It has allowed for students to showcase their writing ability and share their schooling experiences.  I want to express my gratitude to students, teachers editors and parents for their continuous contribution and support.

2024 Co-chief Editors 

Hello, and welcome to the 11th edition of The Ivy Voice! As Victoria mentioned this will unfortunately be her last edition with us at Ivanhoe Grammar School so Grace and I have taken the initiative to keep the spirit of The Ivy Voice alive. In the coming months Grace and I have big plans for The Ivy Voice and hope that we can make our vision a reality in the coming years. We hope to make this a collaborative and fun space for all students of Ivanhoe Grammar, and wish to see everyone getting involved. As of ECP, The Ivy Voice will become a stream in IDEALS from Years 9-12 to choose, but that does NOT limit our collaboration to just IDEALS sessions. We hope to see everyone, from Buckley House, Middle Years and Cadets getting involved and joining The Ivy Voice spirit. We can't wait to see what awaits for The Ivy Voice, and we hope you enjoy!
