CJC received a Science Week Grant to assist with the funding of our planned Stargazing Night – many thanks to Mr Lewis for submitting the successful grant application. The grant will assist with paying for additional telescopes. Please contact the PC if you have telescope that you can share on the night.

The NED Show is coming to CJC to highlight resilience via yo-yos, and we will shortly be asking for some parent volunteers to sell yo-yos at the school so that CJC can pass on this free event to the next school: www.theNEDshow.com

PC Uniform Shop:  The Uniform shop will be open from 3.15pm on Friday, 21 July 2023. We understand that it can take time to wait and select uniform pieces and we appreciate the kindness and patience you show to our uniform shop volunteers who provide this valuable service to the school community.  We also welcome Sue Mennie to our Uniform Shop volunteer team. Electronic payment available.

2023 September School Arts Festival: The School has an ambitious Arts festival planned for Friday 8, 2023 from 2.30 – 6.30.  CJC Families, the PC is looking to provide catering options for this event and others throughout the year. Do you or your family work in the industry or can help us provide a solution, or have you seen something at another event that you would like to see at CJC? Don’t be shy…we’re hungry to hear from you!

Band/Orchestra @ CJC:  Correction: We are looking for a band/orchestra leader? There is some interest for starting a school band/orchestra at CJC, but we are looking for a parent who would be interested in setting up a Choir at CJC.  WWCC is required.

Volunteering:  The Parent’s Committee will now use the Sign-Up online platform to manage and streamline volunteering at the school. In terms 3 and 4 we have a number of events planned where parent volunteers are needed and we hope that this new platform and advance notice will assist families to better plan when they might be able to volunteer at school: https://signup.com/go/hdjNbBk

Friday Treats: Pains au Chocolate from Reverie café will be offered for $4 each.
