In Writing this week, we are learning to brainstorm and plan a new information report. 

VOCABULARY

Information Report: Is a non-fiction text type that informs and educates readers on a series of information/facts on any specific topic

Brainstorm: It is to come up with new ideas by having a discussion with someone.

Plan: Details of what one is going to do.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

With your child, using information textbooks or online sources, investigate information around their interests or a chosen topic. 

This could look like collecting a series of facts on Heat Production, Australia or another country, How things move, Dinosaurs, the list goes on.
