Organizing

What is the Organizing Team? Think of it as the OGEA cheerleading squad. You probably know the Bargaining Team bargains for salary increases and safe working conditions. The Organizing Team rallies you (the OGEA members) behind the Bargaining Team by informing you what’s at stake and asking you to show solidarity. The easiest way to show your support is to wear your OGEA t-shirt on the above listed days. Other times we may ask you to speak at board meetings or to write letters to Oak Grove trustees and executives. 

Those little “Did You Know” slips of paper you’ve received over the years are from the Organizing Team. We will keep you informed of what Bargaining is tackling. We may move beyond Bargaining and tackle issues such as curriculum. 

We need more cheerleaders! If you would like to be on the Organizing Team please inform Brenna Juull at brennajuull@gmail.com.  You will even get a small stipend that covers a few Starbucks!
