Foundation (Prep)

This week the Prep students have focused on their personal writing goals. Some children have concentrated on recording the sounds they could hear, spaces between their words, full stops or capital letters. Others challenged themselves to use exclamation marks, question marks and talking marks. We also focused on writing the letter Nn correctly during handwriting lessons.

In Maths, we have continued practising using a variety of strategies to solve addition problems, including using 'doubles'.

During Inquiry,  we discussed why water is important and ways we can save water around our house. Students wrote and illustrated a page each, which came together to make a whole class book about saving water.
