Polly Farmer Foundation

High School Transition

Last week (6 to 8 September) the Polly Farmer Foundation hosted its inaugural high school transition camp to the East MacDonnell Ranges for thirty-five Polly Farmer Learning Club students from across Alice Springs.

Five fortunate Year 7 and 8 St Philip's College Follow the Dream students – Lachlan Coulthard, Sazkoda Dunn, Shanille Braybon, Harrison Moore and Sharon Silverton were selected as ambassadors to attend the camp to promote St Philip's  and the Follow the Dream Program.

These students were selected based on their effort, behaviour and attendance at school and at FTD. Students visited and heard from traditional owners and park rangers about the stories, the history, the plants and animals of the East MacDonnell Ranges.

The students demonstrated great leadership and were terrific role models for the primary school students.
