Formal Online Assessment

To support our teacher judgements, increase intervention programs and identify how your child is performing compared to their own learning growth, Ballarat High School will be implementing PAT testing during term 4. They will complete both a literacy and numeracy test.

Parents/Guardians and students will be able to access the testing results through Compass. The testing program will give students the opportunity to monitor their own progress and identify areas for improvement. As a school we will be using the data to evaluate and improve our teaching and learning programs. 

All students are expected to bring a fully charged, approved device (i.e laptop, iPad etc) to school for their testing days.

If for any unapproved reason your child does not bring a device to school, alternative arrangements will be made at a later date.
