The Hazard Perception Test Online is the same as the computer-based test you’ve always been able to take in-person. But with the HPTO there’s no appointment fee or booking required. And no need to visit a VicRoads Customer Service Centre to take the test - all that’s needed is a myVicRoads account, a compatible device with internet connection and you can take the test at home.
Cancelled appointmentsIf your appointment to take the Hazard Perception Test in-person was recently suspended due to the impacts of COVID-19 you may have already received an email from VicRoads inviting you to take the test online. Tell your friends or family!If you’ve already completed your Hazard Perception Test or you’re a full licence holder you’re not required to take the test again.
