Dear Primary Families
Welcome back to Term 4. I hope the recent Spring Break allowed you to spend some quality time with your loved ones, or even explore our great state of Queensland.
Like many sporting fans, I found myself glued to the TV screen for both the AFL and NRL final series and of course the associated Grand Finals. What stood out to me was that the eventual winners gave their very best throughout the finals and did not stop until the final siren sounded. They did this because they knew the accumulation of all their hard work throughout a very long season would be defined by their efforts in these final stages.
As we begin our 4th and final term of 2021, I ask that, together, we remind our boys about the importance of finishing strong and giving their best right until the final bell sounds at the end of the year.
The current COVID-19 restrictions require students to continue wearing masks while at school. We are asking that all students bring their own mask each day.
As we return to our Summer Uniform for this term, boys are reminded to ensure that their uniform continues to be worn with the utmost pride. Additionally, it is also important that boys return with haircuts that are in alignment to our College policy. This means that they should not have a fringe that can be brushed over their eyes and that their hair is not less than a three-blade.
During the final week of Term 3, we had a wonderful opportunity to join together as a Primary School to celebrate Mass together. This occasion also saw the presentation of our Love of Work and Men of Courage Awards for Term 3. Congratulations to the following students:
