From Your P&F

The P&F has trialled some new approaches for reaching parent volunteers for the sports canteens across 2021. With a series of messages through different channels across the week, we exceeded all expectations, reaching our peak outcome in the final weekend of Term 3 (12 June) with an astounding 54 people in the SignUp sheet. This sort of reliability with SignUps takes an enormous amount of stress away from game day - for everyone involved.

It really does only take one hour per term for every parent with a son playing sport. This doesn’t just make it work… it makes for an enjoyable hour meeting new parents, the satisfaction of feeding hungry boys, and the great feeling of seeing what we helped to create - new ceiling fans flying proudly in the gym.

The P&F would like to thank the dedicated network of parent year group co-ordinators (Kym O’Gorman, Tanya Roberts, Kath Brassington, Michelle Mead, Donna Lynn, Genevieve Lee, and Amy Rosanowski), the amazing Bethany Halpin, Rebecca Cutajar, Luke Caplick, Bruce McPhee, and others for their tireless attention to detail as we worked through the new routines week by week.
