Principal's report

“If you’re always trying to be normal you will never know how amazing you can be”.

At last, we can see some light at the end of the tunnel as we welcome everyone back onsite next Wednesday. We are so excited to have everyone back! Just a reminder we have a Curriculum Day next Monday and Public Holiday on Tuesday.

COVID Update

There are many measures in place to keep our school community as safe as possible as we make the transition back to onsite learning as communicated via compass this week. One of the most important ones is that all visitors permitted back onsite from next Wednesday, including parents, must check in and prove their vaccination status to the office staff if they are on the school grounds for any reason. This means that if you are taking your child to their classroom between 8.45am and 9 am you must go to the office first, check in and show vaccination status. This process is not required if you are only dropping off or picking up from the gates. Please note that there are only 2 adults allowed in the foyer of the office at any one time due to density limits.

Pool

Our swimming pool surface is receiving a facelift over the coming weeks! We have used the opportunity of having it closed due to COVID to commence this process. Although we recently had renovations on the changing rooms, the pool surface itself has needed repair for a while. We have been patching it up as needed but now we are excited to be putting in a product that will last the lifetime of the pool. Although this process has started, it will take the remainder of the term to finish, and we can look forward to a beautiful new sparkly pool by the start of term 1 2022.

Halloween week

We have had a very spooky week here at school! Our whole school events team organised a full week of fun activities and I was lucky enough to get to judge the cookie decorating competition and dress up. There was also face painting, hair spraying and a scavenger hunt. Lots of fun had by all! Enjoy the photos.

Be kind to yourselves and each other. Stay safe.
