SCIENCE

SCIENCE

It's been another exciting start to the term in Science, with students involved in a variety of hands-educational activities to stimulate the mind and generate discussion. Senior students have been conducting chemistry experiments, using household items, to produce rainbow effects, as well as, investigating two of our senses - taste and sight, utilising many types of visual illusions and depth perception cues. The Junior students have been developing a deeper understanding of animal habitats, different types of animals and designing their own creature using plasticine. Preps and Grade one students have also started to explore plants and how they gather and produce energy, and have also started looking at the structure and importance of flowers.
