Airplanes

Most airplanes today are made out of aluminium: a strong, yet lightweight metal. The Ford Tri-Motor, the first passenger plane from 1928, was made out of aluminium. The modern Boeing 747 is an aluminium airplane as well. Other metals, such as steel and titanium, are sometimes used to build aircraft.

On December 17 of 1903, the first aircraft was created! It was made by these pretty epic people, Wilbur and Orville Wright. In fact, Wilbur and Orville Wright invented the first four airplanes. In 1903, they made four brief flights at Kitty Hawk with their first powered aircraft. They used a stopwatch to time the Kitty Hawk flights. The Wright Brothers’ airplanes sure look very different to the planes we have now! Just look at it! Theirs could only fit one or two people in it. Now they fit 3000! That’s a big change! Don’t you think?

Horse and cart vs Ute

NO! UTES ARE BETTER than those silly old horse and carts. All they do is take people or stuff to place to place but with Ute you can go four wheel driving, put stuff in the back, people can sit in it and it has a roof, doors and windows so if we tip, there is less likelihood you’ll get hurt. Horse and carts were just using the horse’s energy and were much slower than a ute. Utes go faster and get to places quicker.

Cars

The first car was made in 1885. It was a small, confined space with open sides instead of doors and windows like we have on cars these days. Karl Benz was the creator of this first car.  Nowadays, we have vehicles with different brands and styles. In 1885, only the wealthy and rich citizens could get their hands on an automobile. Now, most people can afford to buy their own car.

Roller skates

Officially, the first pair of roller skates were invented by John Joseph in 1760; but actually, the first pair of roller skates were made by James Leonad Plimton who died in 1911. Nowadays, we have roller skates but we have the more improved brands of roller skates - they do look like the first pair made in a way.

The Evolution of Shoes

From cloth shoes to Nikes, the world of shoes has changed dramatically!  The change in the world of shoes has proved to be very beneficial; people are no longer feeling the dirt and ground beneath them while wearing shoes.  People can now enjoy comfort and support around their feet. They no longer need to feel glass and rocks cutting into their feet.

 The Evolution of the Car

Today the car is our most trusted transport it is used millions of times a day. There are different types of cars that include Holden Nissan and Mazda. But before all this fancy stuff, cars looked a little bit different in fact we didn’t use cars, we had horse and carriage witch we had to use a few hundred years ago. The carriage was not at all fancy it was just some wood and nails (I think). Over time we invented motors and that led to the car, even the car had changed over time with the engine. In my opinion the modern day car is great and you can get places fast and in style.

Trains

Trains have been around since 1804 when steam train were around. In the new trains there is not as smoke. They all come in different colours and sizes. All the new trains have food and better sits and faster to get where you want to go. We think that the change has helped because of the disabled people to get on and for old people to get on easy to get on and off.
