Student Services

Term 1 certainly started full of energy and enthusiasm but the recent developments with COVID-19 have been challenging for staff, students and parents/carers and the broader community.

If you or your child are experiencing distress over the COVID-19 situation, please have a look at these fact sheets from Headspace and Beyondblue that may provide you with some useful strategies.

Julian Couzins is one of our Psychologists and he is available for phone counselling – ( 0419 319 899 (text first).  Students usually need a mental health care plan, but under the current circumstances, Julian is happy to have a chat with any students that are experiencing distress.

Breakfast Club now runs each Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursdays and has been a great success, thanks to Alisha Gibson and Kris Balzary.

While the National Day Against Bullying on Friday, 20th March 2020 was officially postponed, we went ahead with our plans to have an open mic session and photo booth at lunchtime (meeting the requirements of social distancing!).

Eight students performed with many others wanting to be involved, but with time restraints not all performers got the chance, so there’s always next time.
