Year 7 Camp

What a fabulous camp the Year 7 cohort embarked on this week at the Alexandra Adventure Resort.  I was so impressed with each and every one of our students. We were given the opportunity to fly the fox, jump the leap of faith, climb the rocks, squeal on the giant drop and many many more thrilling activities.

On the first night all students and staff enjoyed a bonfire as a group. Although there weren't any marshmallows, there was a courageous Gabby who wrestled a spider out of the camp. We concluded night 1 with a movie in the theatre room.

The final night after a full on day of activities we had a McGuire Talent Show. With our judges finding it hard to come up with an overall winner at first, Keegan Hawking was no match for the group taking the overall winner in our talent show.

A big hit for the students was the camp food. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners as well as desert and supper. We also had a special 13th birthday celebration on the last night for Tanner Webber which involved a big birthday cake shared with the group.

A big thank you to all staff and students who yet again made the most out of our exciting Year 7 camp at the Alexandra Adventure Resort.
