The Feast of St. Brendan's

The Feast of St Brendan's was celebrated on Tuesday, 16th May with a wonderful day full of creativity, song and dancing.

Our students were fully engaged in workshops and a concert in the afternoon with singer and songwriter, Andrew Chinn.  The students, teachers and parents could not get the smile off their faces during and after the performance.  It was just what we all needed after so many years of not being able to come together in one place and do what we enjoy the most; sing and perform.

Every student throughout the day was given the chance to perform with Andrew, either in front of their peers or the parents at the concert. Andrew is a very talented and gifted singer and songwriter of religious songs for children and his song’s are always at the top of our list when it comes to Masses and Assemblies.

Andrew included songs that told the story of St Brendan in his boat, the carrach and some Irish dancing.

We were so Blessed and Grateful for this wonderful event and we know many of our students would have gone home ‘buzzing’ with excitement after the concert.

We thank Father Joe and all our parents and special friends and of course Andrew Chinn for attending our amazing concert at the end of the day.
