A message from our Principal

Dear St. Brendan's School Community,

The last few weeks have been full of action!

Children in Years 5/6 have been involved in the Division Cross Country.  Well done to all children who participated in this event.

Congratulations to the students who have made the next level:

Girls 10 Years

Marita Bisimwa

Girls 12/13 Years

Jesse Kabangu

Good luck girls - A great achievement!

Mother's Day Breakfast

Thanks to Jacklyn Lamb and Parents and Friends Committee for the fantastic organisation of the Mother's Day Breakfast.  A wonderful response by Mothers, Grandmothers and children, and also a well supported Mother's Day Stall with lots of orders.  Thanks so much!

Open Day

Our Open Day went extremely well and was well attended.  Many thanks to all those who attended and our wonderful Year 6 Tour Guides.

St. Brendan's Feast Day

We had a fantastic St. Brendan's Feast Day on Tuesday, 16th May.

Children were engaged in workshops with Andrew Chinn all day and art/craft activities in their Classrooms.

A Whole School Concert was held in the Monsignor Bones Hall.  Many thanks to Principal, John Cortese at Notre Dame College for allowing us to use their Hall.  Father Joe Taylor, parents, children and staff were thoroughly entertained by Andrew and the children singing.

Many thanks to Leanne Pellegrino for her organisation.

Uniforms

Thanks to parents for organising uniforms.  Tracksuit pants must be worn over PE shorts and Boys are to wear Long Grey pants for winter.

There are plenty of uniforms in the Second Hand Uniform Shop, which is open every Tuesday from 3-3.30pm.

Kind regards,

Paula Stevenson
