Sports Report
District Cross Country
Last Thursday week, our 54 member Cross Country Team competed at the CDSSA Cross Country Championships at Hanging Rock. The students endured the cold and wet conditions and slippery track in their 2km and 3km races. Well done to our team, who all put in their best efforts, with the vast majority of competitors being pleased with their results.
Special mention goes to the following students who finished in the top 12 places in their events, and congratulations to those (in bold text) who qualified for the next level of competition:

Division Cross Country
The Goldfields Division Cross Country took place in Castlemaine last Friday. With the majority of our qualifying students away enjoying their Canberra camp experience, Sam, CU2, was our sole school representative at this event. Congratulations to Sam, who finished 11th in his 2km race and has been selected to progress to the next level, the LM Region Cross Country! Well done, Sam.
Soccer and Winter Sports
Best of luck to our Senior Unit Soccer teams who are competing in the CDSSA Soccer Competition at Dixon Field tomorrow, and to our AFL, Netball and Softball teams who will compete in our CDSSA Winter Sports in Romsey on Tuesday, 23 May.
